Cimco was founded in 1977 and purchased by James Rotruck, the current president, in 1983. Mr. Rotruck has a BSEE in Electronics and a MSEE in Power Systems. His experience with transformers includes design, development, and factory management.
Due to recent illness, Mr. Rotruck is not actively involved with Cimco Electronics, Inc. at this time. Cimco is currently under the management of Mr. Rotruck's daughter Amie Rotruck. Ms. Rotruck has a BSEE with a concentration in electronics from the University of Pittsburgh. After working for various companies as a digital hardware designer, Ms. Rotruck began working for Cimco in 2000 as Manager of Engineering and Marketing.
